As the Production Supervisor, you play a vital role in supporting operational functions within the facility. Under the guidance of the Operations Manager, you assist in the day-to-day operations, ensuring readiness to meet schedules and capitalize on opportunities. Your responsibilities encompass various areas including inventory control, cost management, logistics, mix & blend processes, maintenance, production planning, and asset security.

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and oversee staff compliance.
• Develop daily work schedules and assignments for hourly staff.
• Monitor progress on daily assignments to ensure efficiency and safety.
• Collaborate with management on facility enhancements.
• Gain proficiency in operational tasks within the elevator and mills.
• Support maintenance activities, striving to understand and maintain equipment.
• Assist in scheduling preventative maintenance to uphold safety standards.
• Provide guidance and leadership to hourly operations staff.
• Contribute to asset security measures to mitigate risks.
• Lead and coach onsite workers, including contractors and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental programs.
• Provide feedback on hourly employee performance to management.
• Propose process improvements when necessary.
• Assist in incident documentation and record-keeping per safety standards.
• Support crew development and training initiatives as required.

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
• Bachelor's in Agriculture, Operations, Manufacturing, or relevant field preferred.
• Excellent organizational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Positive and self-motivated demeanor.
• Background in farming is advantageous.

• Prior experience in grain handling or feed operations is beneficial.
